Speaking of consumerism, reusing, green living, and the such, one thing we learned in New York was that people throw the damnedest things out. If you kept your eyes peeled there were some crazy good finds sitting out on the sidewalk, especially if you were in the right neighborhoods. We even have a shelf here in our L.A. home that was an “Oh damn, someone threw that out?” drive by find from just up the hill.
So it’s no surprise to come home and find that a neighbor has placed an item on top of the bins. Usually. This one, however, made us take pause.
What the hell? No doubt, someone…SOMEONE will indulge. And God bless ‘em, because they may be in for the ultimate Kickass Adventure.
We felt it only right to complete the set….

Oh for those who don’t know the pleasures of SPAM… SPAM kept most Korean countryfolk nourished during the war when it was airdropped by the U.S. Armed Forces! And for those of you who might, might think that SPAM is unhealthy, there’s LOW-SODIUM SPAM in a lighter-shade-of-blue can. The shtznit it is …
And hey AJ, thanks for the tip. I saw those chili cans on the garbage the other day and was a bit perplexed, but I might just go run down and pick them up to eat with some rice and kimchi.
I was into my non-preservative diet for about a week, but now that you’re talking about SPAM ….
We at Kickass Adventuring endorse only organic, locally grown Spam. Actually, it’s Spam picking season no?
