We tend to make up our own adventures as we go along.  But occasionally we either don’t have the equipment or know-how to do all that we are inspired to try.  It is then that we turn to experts to outfit and guide our adventures.

We prefer adventures that are a little more off the beaten track, gets the adrenaline pumping, and are not too crowded, giving us plenty of room to explore without being suffocated.  Here you will find reviews of some of the outfitters that we’ve used to help us put a little more kickass in our adventures.  Some of the factors we consider before purchasing an adventure program or package include:

• Flexibility – are they willing to work with a family with young kids?
• Affordability – does it fit the budget?
• Safety - it’s all fun until someone gets hurt, right? Or right before someone gets hurt…
• Fun Factor – if not fun and exciting, then why bother?
• Friendliness – are the staff people you would want to hang out with for the duration?
• Qualifications – do they really know their stuff and are they good about sharing that knowledge so you walk away from the adventure a little more informed?
