Picnic at LAX

Sunset at LAX
This was looking like possibly the most random little adventure the history of Kickass Adventures – a picnic at the base of the LAX landing strip….But it was SUnday, no traffic, and we shot out on…let’s call it a lark.
On her way back from surf lessons Mickie spotted a sign that caught her attention. That’s right, In-N-Out Burger. As she was ordering items she would wind up not sharing, Mick spotted a well groomed little park across the street from that In-N-Out, adjacent to the LAX landing strip. A perfect spot to have a picnic….and watch the jets come in right over your head.
Far from random, very cool, exciting, and surprisingly nice. And did I mention In-N-Out right across the street?

Note:  Earplugs recommended for this picnic.

Yikes! What a great shot. When I see pictures like this I alsways wonder if there’s some sort of “photo magic” being done. Now I see it can be real.
