MONDAY’S TRAVELS:
This is the ground we covered Monday.

The day was all about covering ground, eating up miles. Cutting through Wisconsin and just skimming Southern Minnesota isn’t the most exiting thing in the world, though interesting in a “look at a place where I’d never live” type of way. Thanks for the dairy though guys!
Here’s a picture of us driving through Wisconsin

Here’s another one of Wisconsin

This one’s Wisconsin

A lot of bugs in Southern Minnesota and South Dakota
-rest in peace little friends-

Give back to the land my son.
Rain on the horizon in South Dakota.
Driving in South Dakota was a trip. Coming from anywhere, but especially from NYC, you feel like you’re on another planet. Mickie and I were talking about how difficult it is to try to legislate on a federal level in a way that applies to all the regions in this country. Talk gun control in South Dakota and you might as well have an arm growing out of your forehead, yet if they sold firearms at the K-Mart in the East Village in NYC I’d say they hopped into the crazy line twice. This country is huge – geographically and culturally. Like our favorite Brit, Jonathan Collins, says (paraphrased): “I couldn’t believe you get on a plane in New York, fly west for six hours, and when you get off you not only still understand everyone, your money still works.” I’d never thought about how unique that is until he brought it to my attention.
MEMO TO WORKERS AT APPLEBEE’S IN ALBERT LEA, MN
Thanks for the service, but there is such a thing as being too friendly. I can’t eat my burger if I feel like you’re going to ask me to your prom after my third bite. I didn’t pack my tux.
