In the spirit of downsizing…
We’d originally planned to work in a trip to Ecuador this summer. It’s been 20 years since I last visited my mother’s homeland, and I want Mickie and the boys to have the experience, plus the immersion in spanish. But the timing wasn’t right (or not as right as it may be in the near future) so we switched and planned to head back up to the Northwest, perhaps into Vancouver, our Oregon trip last October having been so full of opportunity.
We set the plan and….started booking commercial jobs. NAPA & Pizza Hut foiled our plans. Had to stay in town to shoot some spots, which ate into our travel time and had us rethinking how we’d use the rest of August….and here we sit, pleasantly doing a whole lot of nothing in Palm Springs – though we are hitting Joshua Tree tonight for some bouldering, sunset, and stars.
Call it Kickback Adventuring… Chillass Adventuring….over the last few days we’ve called it delicious
